NOTE: The downloads on this page of our web site are for users who normally buy, or wish to buy, copies of WinTax direct from Softbyte Computers. The downloads of the full copies of WinTax, on this page of our web site, are not to be downloaded by users who normally receive their copies of WinTax directly from Old Mutual or ABSA under the license agreements between these two financial institutions and Softbyte Computers. Old Mutual and ABSA have different versions of WinTax which have been individually customised for Old Mutual and ABSA. We suggest that, before you spend time downloading WinTax or BackTax, you complete an order form and fax it to us with proof of payment. You can either download a price list & order form or contact us and request that a form be faxed to you.
Please note that the IBCFIN and FirstFin Pro programs will only require registration and payment after 30 days of free use.

The installer files are fairly large and may take some time to download (depending on the speed of your connection). We suggest you choose to Save the file in a folder somewhere on your hard drive so that you have a copy of it. DO NOT save the installer file to your Desktop! Folders we suggest you save the installer file to are either a "Temp" folder, your "My downloads" folder or your "My Documents" folder. You could also choose to download the installer file onto a CD or memory stick so that not only will you have a backup but you will be able to easily transport the installer file to install the program on other computers if so desired. When you RUN the file it will install the program. During installation, we recommend that you don't change the default install folder (in order that subsequent updates you may download will find the program).
