WAM (WinTax Admin Manager) is a version of WinTax Pro with the added feature of a Tax Administration System for Personal Taxpayers, Trusts, Companies and cc's!  WAM is also available in network versions.

 

WAM (WinTax Admin Manager) users may store, and search for, a host of information in order to produce reports which are invaluable when it comes to the administration of tax returns for companies and cc's.  WAM is incredibly user-friendly and easy to use - WAM only has three screens!!

 

The capture screen only requires that you click in applicable boxes and WAM automatically inserts the date (which you can change if desired).  WAM will keep track of all IRP6, IT12, IT12TR and IT14 submissions, extensions and objections etc for personal taxpayers, Trusts and also for Companies and cc's. WAM will allow you multiple search options which produce lists showing what's been done, what hasn't been done and what's outstanding etc. An important feature of these lists, which are laid out in easy-to-read table format, is that the lists will even show reasons why work is outstanding. For example, if you ask for lists of ITR12's not yet submitted then the list will show the taxpayer's details plus the reason/s why the ITR12 has not been submitted. Example: "Waiting for taxpayer's vehicle log book" or "Waiting for Med Aid certificate. Mrs Benson (011 123 4567) at ACME Health promised to fax a certificate by 27th August".  The same info and reasons will be displayed when you search for lists showing status of extensions and objections etc.

 

What if your key tax clerk is suddenly unavailable for a month or two? How long will it take you to manually go through, possibly, a few hundred files to see what has been completed and what hasn't, what has been submitted and what hasn't, what documents you are waiting for, what extensions are due next week, who is dealing with particular extensions or objections etc? Which Company's, cc's or Trusts's financials are still waiting to be signed and what's causing the delay? Would this frustrating nightmare take you 5 days? a week? two weeks? WAM will find all this information for you in a fraction of a second.

 

WAM will keep track of the dates that documents like IRP6's, IT14's, IT12TR's and IT12's were received, completed, submitted; likewise keep track of all dates and information regarding extensions and objections, which of your taxpayers in the database need to submit IRP6's (including 3rd periods) etc. No more spending hours or days searching through hundreds of individual files to find out the status of work done or the status of, and reasons for, work still outstanding. All this important info will be displayed on the list instantly and at the click of a mouse-button! Of course these lists, produced by WAM, can be printed and/or exported to spreadsheets or word processors and even emailed. Just skim down the column on the list with your finger (the list can be displayed on-screen or printed) to find blanks in the date column and see the reason/s why the work is still outstanding, which company/cc or Trust's financials still have not been signed and see the reasons why not in the report list ie "Public Officer Mr Benson away on business in Switzerland until 27th May"

 

The WinTax Admin Manager also allows you to tag your clients in the database as either Active or Dormant clients/taxpayers. We have introduced an "Associated with" field where you may group taxpayers - for example by employer or by entering that the particular taxpayer is a beneficiary of a particular Trust etc.
