I have been using WinTax in my practice since 1998 and we also used it at the company where I did my articles.  It is a great program to work on and makes running your practice so much easier.  WinTax is one of the computer programs that has become a necessity in my practice.

I would just like to compliment you on what a superb tax program that you have. I recently bought over a tax practice and together with my own clients had close on eight hundred returns to do. Of that we got about two returns wrong and upon investigation, realised it was our fault for not inputting amounts in correctly! Even with the lump sums, you were spot on! I also feel that due to the program being as superb as it is, we only had 12 returns that were referred to audit. But then again those returns are 'explainable' - high mileage, high travel allowances, high rental losses, etc. Congratulations on a job well done!

I recently had occasion to lodge 3 separate objections with SARS each regarding taxation of lump sum incorrectly assessed by SARS.  After protracted arguments, SARS have finally admitted that SARS's calculations were incorrect and that WinTax's calculations were correct.
